Council launches ‘power breakfast’ event for businesses

Armagh City, Banbridge & Craigavon Borough Council have assembled a line up of energy experts and advisors for an event aimed at businesses and organisations seeking practical advice and assistance to better manage their energy needs and cut costs.  The first Energy Awareness Breakfast, in collaboration with Manufacturing NI, will take place in Craigavon Civic & Conference Centre on Thursday 15th September at 8am.  Businesses across the borough are invited to attend.  The 2 hour event will be practical and advice-driven and led by Jamie Delargy, energy expert and former UTV presenter.  Key representatives from the Utility Regulator and Invest NI will be among the high profile list of experts available to answer any questions.

Happy 50th Birthday Janet Groom

Staff at Craigavon Civic & Conference Centre would like to wish Janet Groom a happy 50th birthday.  Janet enjoyed a birthday meal with family and friends at the Conference Centre on 13th August 2016.  A great time was had by all.

‘Journey’ Fundraiser – Friday 12th August

Next Friday, 12th August, the W J Mayes Hall will be the venue for ‘Journey’ – a showcase of music, dance and song featuring amazing local dance and drama schools and teachers.  This fundraiser is in aid of Sean Roberts Drama College Fund.  Doors open @ 7pm, show starts at 7.30pm.  Entry is £7 and can be paid at the door.  Suitable for all ages.  Bar facility is also available.  Come along and support this worthy cause with a greats night’s entertainment.
